Who We Are

Provisdom is led by Mark Erickson. Mark has been the driving force and key contributor in the creation of new concepts and tools in valuation and strategy, and has facilitated high-level decision making through writing, training, and coaching.

Prior to Provisdom, Mark worked with the semiconductor and venture banking industries to create novel real options approaches to their industries.

Dr. Erickson has a B.S. in mathematics from MIT, an M.S. in Engineering-Economic Systems and Operations Research from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. from the Management Science and Engineering Department at Stanford. His dissertation, titled "Financial and Real Options: Theory and Lattice Techniques," introduced a new, stand-alone system for analyzing decisions with a generalized real options-type discipline.
