Services and Deliverables
Provisdom can deliver the model as a software application, allowing for on-demand access to the optimal strategy given current
information. Provisdom can also deliver reports to illustrate the strategy to stakeholders. A typical engagement may provide the following services and deliverables:
- Strategic model based on information provided by decision maker and knowledge workers.
- Analysis and visualizations of strategy, key change points in important model parameters.
- Recommendations for improvements.
- Incorporation of feedback from decision maker (iterative improvement of model).
- Final report.

How we work with you
Provisdom’s customized solutions begin with information gathering. The Provisdom team (1-2 persons) and the lead decision maker or analyst participates, either
in person or over the phone. Key decisions, uncertainties, and payoffs are identified, along with sources of relevant
information (data systems, employees, etc.) Once the initial set of information is gathered, Provisdom will rapidly develop a first-cut model, often in a matter
of hours. The decision maker(s) can then interrogate the model, exploring the optimal strategy, making
queries (e.g., “Under what conditions do I choose to expand manufacturing?”), and performing “what if” analyses. This process usually results in modifications to the model, as
the decision maker realizes that important information had been excluded, or that some information was irrelevant. After a few such iterations, the decision maker finds
that the model results and their intuition have converged.
